Overall, the United States full-size pickup truck sales went up by 9.3% year-over-year. Indeed, pickup truck prices are rising ever higher, but so are the sales. Pickup trucks are vehicles that can do work, as such there is still a huge demand.
GM’s combined Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra sales are ahead of all others. GM sold 839,056 full-size pickup trucks in 2023. The total GM sales in the table below excludes the medium-duty Silverado 4500, 5500, and 6500 trucks since they are heavier vehicles that are built on a different platform.
The Ford F-Series brand is still number #1 best-selling vehicle nameplate in the country. Ford sold 750,789 F-Series trucks in 2023. This includes: the F-150, F-150 Lightning, F-250, F-350, F-450, F-550, and F-600 pickup trucks and commercials vehicles.
