Current 2023 Jeep Gladiator 4×4 pickup trucks are seeing huge discounts right now. What’s going on and how much can you save? Check it out here.
While many new pickup trucks are getting ever more expensive, you can still find a good deal. Some outlets are reporting Jeep Gladiator discounts of up to $20,000. I checked our local Colorado dealer (Johnson Auto Plaza) and found discounts of up to $15,355 on a 2023 Gladiator Rubicon.
Many dealerships have large numbers of current Gladiators sitting in their inventories. These midsize pickups are very popular in Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region. Gladiator prices have been high since it launched in 2019. However, sales have slowed down a lot recently. This is one of the reasons why discounts are going up. It has to do with how long some of these trucks are sitting on lots. The longer they sit, the higher the discount. I found a 2023 Gladiator Sport at a discounted price of $43,391. It’s a very competitive price, considering that you get a Jeep truck with a removable top and removable doors.
There is another reason why this is happening. Jeep just recently announced the refreshed 2024 Jeep Gladiator. Check out my video from the 2023 Detroit Auto Show (below). The 2024 Gladiator gets new styling, updated interior, improved safety, and technology. The lower prices for the 2023 models are looking to entice customers to buy now, and not wait for the 2024 model to come out.
There is another major force at play here. The current UAW strike has closed down the Toledo, Ohio factory where the Gladiator and the Wrangler are built. Once the current 2023 Gladiators are sold out, there may not be many new Gladiators for some time. This will drive the prices back up.
