Check it out! Ford has basically unveiled the upcoming and refreshed 2024+ Ford F-150 Raptor R pickup truck. Uncovered Raptor R prototypes are driving around the country as the company is putting some more test miles on these trucks before they disclose official specifications, pricing, and availability. Let’s take a close look because this new Raptor R appears to be sporting a new modular front bumper.

2024 Ford F-150 Raptor R
The current 2023 F-150 Raptor and Raptor R have a steel one-piece front bumper that is painted black. This Raptor R appears to have a new front bumper design to go along with an updated front grille and headlights. The new bumper has squared-off orange recovery hooks (the current Raptor R has smaller rounded front hooks). The corners of the new bumper appear to be removable or replaceable. The bumper already offers a very good approach angle, so these bumper corners may just be there so they are easier to replace in case of accidental damage. The bumper still has parking sensors and fog lights. There is also a place to mount a front push bar or an additional light bar.
We expect Ford to keep the current 700 horsepower 5.2L supercharged Predator V8 engine as it currently is. The new Raptor R will likely get the new HUD (Heads Up Display) from the 2023+ Super Duty. The truck will also get updated tail lights and several other small tweaks.
We expect the 2024 Raptor R to receive another significant FOX Shocks upgrade to the latest 3.1 Live Valve X2 damper system with two adjustable valves (not one as before).
The R’s starting price is likely to remain north of $110,000. The truck may offer more optional equipment at an additional cost.
