Are you interested in the all-new 2023 GMC Canyon, but you are unsure about which one is best for you? No worries. Here is a complete video walk-through of every new Canyon pickup truck that is coming to market this year. Check it out.
It all starts with the 2023 Canyon Elevation model. This is the only one that can be had with 2WD or 4×4 options. All other new GMC Canyons will be sold exclusively in the 4×4/AWD configuration. All new GMC Canyons get a wide stance and a lifted suspension that you will find on the 2023 Chevy Colorado Trailboss and Colorado ZR2 pickup trucks. They all come with a 4-door crew cab and a 5’2” bed.
All new 2023 Canyon pickup trucks come with a high-output version of the 2.7-liter turbocharged I4 engine with 310 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque – that is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The 2023 GMC Canyon Elevation 2WD starts at $38,395 before destination charges. The Elevation 4×4 starts at $41,695.
Next up is the Canyon AT4 4×4. This truck gets a slightly larger and more aggressive Goodyear Wrangler Territory MT tire that is 32.1 inches in diameter. The Canyon Elevation Territory AT tires measure 31.6 inches. The AT4 gets its own monochromatic look and starts at $45,395.
Next is the Canyon Denali 4×4. This is a more luxurious pickup truck that comes with 20-inch wheels and 33-inch tire diameter. The Denali’s interior stands out from the rest with nice wood and metal trim. It’s not as plush as a Sierra 1500 Denali interior in my opinion, but it’s nice nonetheless. The Canyon Denali starts at $52,495.
Finally, there is the Canyon AT4X off-road truck. This is GMC’s take on the new Colorado ZR2. The AT4X has a taller stance, DSSV spool-valve Multimatic dampers, front/rear locking differentials, and 33-inch Terrain MT tires. The AT4X interior stands out with red and white trim and theme throughout. The Canyon AT4X comes with red seat belts – this was inspired by the new Corvette. The AT4X starts at $56,995.
