
What is going on here? The full-size van market took a significant sales dive in Q1 2022. All of the data we have seen so far shows vehicles such as the Ford Transit, Ram ProMaster, Chevy Express, and others post steep sales declines last quarter. Is the demand for full-size vans finally drying up, or are component shortages and factory stopages to blame?
Here are the numbers we have so far. Mercedes-benz has not reported Q1 2022 U.S. sales numbers yet. Nissan discontinued the NV and NV200 van lineups. All other full-size vans see double digit percentage falls. We will dig into this subject more and update this story as it develops.
