This particular build started out life as a brand new F-150 Hybrid crew cab 4×4 in Platinum trim. It’s already a powerful and luxurious truck. The 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 hybrid is rated at 430 horsepower and 570 lb-ft of torque. It’s mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. It has an EPA rating of 23 MPG combined.
The Platinum model offers high-end interior materials, a premium B&O stereo system, and Ford’s Blue Cruise hands-free highway driver-assistance cruiser control system. In this case, PaxPower leaves the powertrain and the interior features unchanged. They go to work on the suspension and the exterior style for this Alpha Hybrid package.
They put gen2 F-150 Raptor FOX 3.0 Live Valve shocks, control arms, and springs under the truck. It rides on 20-inch wheels and 35×12.5 inch Toyo OpenCountry AT tires. The result is a pickup truck with approximately the same track width and ground clearance as a gen2 F-150 Raptor on 35s. Since the latest F-150 software is locked down against modifications these shocks are not actively adjustable. The Alpha appearance package is finished with a unique hood, wide fender flares, painted grille, tinted taillights, and a spoiler on the back of the cab. The entire package costs around $15,000.
