What can you do if you want to turn your pickup truck into a camper on a smaller budget and without overloading your midsize or half-ton truck? Take a look at this ‘Four Wheel Campers – Project M’. It works like a truck topper, but it still has all of the additional room and large sleeping space of a pop-up truck camper.
In this video, Kase shows all the way around and inside the new Project M and some of its accessories and optional equipment. You can find more information about the Four Wheel Campers Project M on their website.
This camper/topper comes in different sizes. It can fit popular midsize pickup trucks with a 5-foot or 6-foot bed, such as a Toyota Tacoma, Ford Ranger, Chevy Colorado, and others. As you can see in this video, the Project M can also fit a variety of full-size truck beds: 5.5-foot, 6.5-foot, and 8-foot bed lengths.
Here it’s shown on a Ford F-150 crew cab. Project M uses the same tough welded aluminum frame construction as the rest of the company’s slide-in truck campers. Customers can choose a variety of exterior finishes and colors. Once the top is lifted – there is plenty of room to stand up. There is a bed that extends over the cab. The rest of the bed configuration is up to you. You can let your imagination run wild with portable batteries, coolers, tables, and more.
