The wait is over. Here is the all-new 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. This is the new luxury SUV flagship for Jeep and Stellantis in general. It joins the standard 2022 Jeep Wagoneer when both go on sale in the United States in the summer of 2021. The Wagoneer and the Grand Wagoneer are NOT related in a way that the Chevy Tahoe is related to the Suburban. While the Wagoneer is indeed a Tahoe competitor, the Grand Wagoneer is the same length and size. The “Grand” stands for luxury. The new Grand Wagoneer is meant to compete against the likes of the Lincoln Navigator and the Cadillac Escalade with a beautiful and large interior, high-tech features, and a price to match.
2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer
These full-size SUVs are built on a truck ladder-frame. This chassis may be similar to that of the Ram 1500 pickup truck, but it’s unique to accommodate the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer’s independent rear suspension. Under the hood of the luxurious Grand Wagoneer is a 6.4-liter HEMI V8 with 471 horsepower and 455 lb-ft of torque. This should be enough power to send this high-end cruiser up to highway speeds in no time.
This SUV’s interior is another level. The Grand Wagoneer will offer up to seven digital screens. The seats are covered in soft and quilted leather. The wood trim is integrated into the dash, door panels, and the steering wheel. There are massaging seats, a giant panoramic sunroof, a center-console refrigerator, and much more. Check it out!
If you are wondering how much the new Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer will tow? It’s a class-leading 10,000 lbs when properly equipped. This is a significant amount more than the Ford Expedition (which is rated at 9,300 lbs of maximum towing).
While the Wagoneer will start at $57,995, the opulent Grand Wagoneer takes it to the next level with a starting price of $86,995.
