The Toyota Land Cruiser TFL Pro project has come to an end. It all started with a 2008 Land Cruiser that we purchased about a year ago. It’s a solid full-size SUV with a legendary name. The LC has turned more luxurious in recent years, and our goal was to turn into more of an off-road overland vehicle.

We did not touch the big 5.7-liter V8 or the the 6-speed automatic transmission. It is a very reliable combination. The power rating is still 381 hp and 401 lb-ft of torque.
We gave it a 2-inch OME suspension lift, TRD Pro wheels, and BFGoodrich tires. The dark grey cruiser was then wrapped in a TRD Pro white color. We gave it a more mean look with a snorkel-style air intake. The additional body protection comes courtesy of very strong steel Metal-Tech side rock sliders.
What are we getting to replace this project? Roman and Tommy found a 1st-generation Mercedes-Benz ML 4×4. This will be our next project.
