This extreme long-term review comes to us from Mitraj, an owner of this 2013 Ram HD 2500 crew cab 4×4. This Cummins turbo-diesel spent nearly 100,000 miles driving across Aftrica as a towing and support vehicle for a rally team.
Take a look at all of the images that Mitraj sent showing the truck working and playing all over Africa.
Mitraj says:
“I have a 2013 Ram 2500 Laramie with the 6.7-liter CTD. I bought it in 2013. It has spent its life in East Africa ( Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania, and Congo). It has been used as tow truck for rally racing events and as an in-stage chase vehicle.
The truck has relatively low milage at 153,000 km (or about 96,000 miles).
After all these years it gave me zero issues. It was a concern as the closest dealership is thousands of miles away by ship.
Currently, my Ram is on its way back to Canada. After these years in Africa, it’s coming back for some maintenance and then heading to South America for some more expeditions.”
This is a very cool story. Thank you for sending all the images!
