The 2019 Ford Ranger will now let you know if one of your rear seat passengers is not wearing a seatbelt.
Most vehicles monitor seatbelts in the front two seats, but in the Ranger, the truck will actually alert the driver to specifically which passenger has neglected their seatbelt.

The technology, called Belt Monitor, was first introduced in the 2018 Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator, and will now be rolled out to the entire Ford lineup in the next few years.
The is the first pickup truck from Ford to use the technology, though expect it to arrive in the F-150 and Heavy Duty pickups one day soon.
