In addition to the mass amounts of truck announcements from FCA at the 2019 NAIAS (the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, MI), we have the 2019 Ram HD Laramie Black. This new trim level banks on consumers digging the darker, more sinister approach to exterior and interior personalization. It is a trim package that is currently available for Ram that has successfully been applied to the 2019 Ram 1500.

Big Horn and Laramie heavy duty trucks are the only models that can get the package and it’s available on any configuration of the 2019 Ram 2500 and 3500 Ram. The Laramie Black package has black exterior accents, special badging and the black exterior matches the interior design along with a black headliner and trim.

The Laramie Black package is available with Hemi and Cummins diesel.

Ram has a new lineup of heavy duty pickup trucks coming this spring. These vehicles have new frames, updated exteriors, new interiors and a bevy of new tech that keeps this segment incredibly competitive. These new heavy duty Rams will be able to tow more (with up to 1,000 lbs-feet of torque – it’s a whole new ballgame), haul more and provide more utility than ever.

The new look is sure to spawn a series of new trim packages in the near future.

There’s even a new Ram 2500 Power Wagon (no, the Laramie Black package is not available for it either), which is supposed to have even more capability than before. FCA is quite serious about dominating the headlines during there 2019 NAIAS and, along with their Laramie Black option for their heavy duty trucks, they have certainly done so.
