Should European Nissan Navara Off-Roader AT32 Become the Next Frontier PRO-4X Warrior?

The European Nissan Navara Off-Roader AT32 pickup truck is a collaboration between Nissan and Arctic Trucks company. It takes a Navara 4×4 truck and kicks it up a few notches in the off-road department. Special off-road packages from the factory, or partnerships like this are all the rage these days. Ford is touting the new Ranger Raptor in Asia. Toyota is bringing the latest 2019 Tacoma TRD Pro to the U.S. later this year. There are several different special editions of the Chevy Colorado ZR2, including the rumored ZR2 Bison overland edition. Nissan is looking to join the party with the AT32 package.

The truck is gets nearly one more inch of ground clearance that in turn improves the approach, departure, and breakover angles. The lift is enough to stuff 32-inch tall tires under the truck, and the tires themselves provide an additional increase of ride height (almost another inch).

The approach angle of the Arctric Truck (AT32) is an impressive 35 degrees (improvement of 4.6 degrees), and the crew cab’s breakover angle is now 24 degrees, an improvement of 1.8 degrees. Bilstein shocks, skid plates, rock sliders, and a snorkel round out this Off-Roader package.

We know that many of you cannot wait for the next generation of the Nissan Frontier. Should Nissan also bring an off-road package that is more capable than the existing PRO-4X? Should they call it the Frontier Warrior? Please let us know in the comments section below.

Here is an older version of the Nissan Frontier PRO-4x in the snowy Colorado Rocky Mountains. We cannot wait to the next Nissan Frontier to reach American shores, so that we can take the next Frontier 4×4 into the mountains.
