The Chevy Tahoe and the Nissan Armada show giant sales improvements in January 2018 in the United States. Dodge Durango joins the full-size SUV report this year with a nice 9% improvement over last year. The leading Tahoe improved by 21.5% over January of last year. The new Tahoe RST at its 6.2L V8 with a 10-speed automatic transmission should have something to do with the sales jump. The same cannot be said for the Chevy Suburban, GMC Yukon, and the Yukon XL. These three declined in sales.
The Nissan Armada continues to gain sales and jumps up into a comfortable sixth spot behind the GMC Yukon. The Toyota Sequoia struggled to find over a 1,000 customers last month. Stay tuned for more on the Sequoia as we test the new 2018 Sequoia TRD Sport.
