October 2017 was another successful month for truck manufacturers, as sales of full-size pickups increased over last year across the board. Truck sales remain strong in part due to increased demand in areas devastated by recent hurricanes and relatively stable fuel prices.
Ford F-Series is leading the pack with a great result in October, up 15.9% over the same month last year. Chevy and GMC had a very good month with a 6.8% and 25.5% improvements respectively. Ram trucks sales improved by approximately 1%. Toyota Tundra and Nissan Titan continued to see sales improvements as well. The Titan is still best improved truck, albeit last on the sales chart.
