The 2018 F-150 Police Responder is based on the new F150 with the FX4 off-road package. The truck is equipped with a 3.5L EcoBoost V6 turbocharged engine and a 10-speed automatic transmission. The engine is rated at 375 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque.
Ford says – the police responder version of the F150 FX4 has police-calibrated braking system, an upgraded front stabilizer bar, police service ready rugged interior, and underbody skid plates. The police version of the F-150 is rated at towing a maximum of 7,000 lbs.
