It is the season when 2018 model pickup trucks are starting to hit dealerships. It is indeed the case with the 2018 Ridgeline. The 2018 model should start arriving at dealerships today with the 2WD version at a starting price of $29,630 (before destination charges).
For 2018, there are now nine trim levels for the Ridgeline. The Sport model now comes in two additional colors: white diamond pearl and lunar silver metallic. The engine and transmission choice remains the same as with the 2017 model. It is the 3.5-liter direct injected V6 with a rating of 280 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque. The 6-speed automatic transmission returns for duty as well. The iVTM4 all-wheel-drive system with torque-vectoring is still there as well. The 2018 Ridgeline AWD has the same EPA fuel efficiency rating as in previous year (19 / 26 / 22 MPG for 2WD, and 18 / 25 / 21 MPG for the AWD).
While Honda is streamlining the trims, options, and available color combinations for 2018 – we cannot help to think. What is on your wishlist for the future Honda Ridgeline.
Recently, TFLtruck reader David Callen sent in the following wish list for a future Ridgeline:
- ventilated/cooled seats
- power folding side mirrors
- rain-sensing windshield wipers
- central-locking tailgate
- 4G LTE Wifi
- Infotainment system with a volume knob
- More towing capability
- Dedicated off-road model with more ground clearance and off-road tires
