Are regular cab pickup trucks gaining popularity? It’s a well-known fact that crew cab 4×4 pickup trucks are the most popular choice for consumers in the United States. What if you didn’t need or want a large crew cab truck? What if you wanted a truck that is more maneuverable and has more ground clearance?
@thatguyadan shows us what a regular cab Ram Rebel could look like. This two-door Ram combines a Rebel front-end design, a suspension lift, large-diameter rims, and a graphics package for an attractive looking off-roader.
It’s no secret that a short wheelbase truck like this has a better breakover angle than a long grew cab. The lift on this particular truck and large tires offer improved approach and departure angles.
The production Ram Rebel is currently offered in a crew cab 5-foot 7-inch bed configuration. It is available with a choice of a V6 or a V8, and can be had as a 4×2 V6 for a starting price of $45,815.
Another benefit of a regular cab truck is a much lower starting price. For example, a Ram 1500 Big Horn regular cab 6-foot 4-inch bed has a starting price that is around $7,000 less than a Big Horn crew cab with the same bed length. That is a big chunk of change.
