The upcoming 2016 Nissan Titan XD will first be launched with a 5.0L Cummins turbodiesel rated at 310 hp and 555 lb-ft of torque… refer to it as “the triple nickel” if you want to sneak into Nissan event parties undetected. The company is touting the Titan XD as a truck for people who want more than a 1/2 ton has to offer but don’t feel the need to step up to a 3/4 ton. To help solidify the truck’s position in people’s minds, Nissan has fitted the XD with an assortment of towing features:
- Anti-sway control
- Around View Monitor
- Trailer Light Check
- Trailer Brake Controller
- Downhill Speed Control
- Tow/Haul Mode
- Integrated Gooseneck Hitch
Check out the video below to see a run down of the Titan XD’s towing features explained by Nissan Chief Product Specialist, Rich Miller.
