Chevy Teams With Realtree, Bone Collector to Make SEMA Special Silverado [Preview]

For the 2015 SEMA Show, Chevrolet has teamed with Realtree and Michael Waddell, star of The Bone Collector, to create a trail-ready version of the 2016 Silverado 1500.

The Realtree Bone Collector concept is a collection of the company’s accessories and a special paint scheme. The color scheme comes from Realtree, a company known for making camouflage hunting gear.

Along with the camo treatment, the special Silverado gets aggressive off-road tires mounted on 22-inch black aluminum wheels from Chevrolet Accessories. The concept truck also has the new off-road package which includes a front push bar, assist steps and sport bar. The sport bar also houses an LED light bar.

For added utility, the concept Silverado has a drawer system in the cargo bed and a cooler mounted just behind the cab. The bed also has tie-down rings painted in Bone Collector green.

Performance-wise, the concept adds 16.1-inch diameter disc rotors from Chevrolet Performance. The six-piston calipers are also painted in Bone Collector green.

That same green is applied to the special instrument cluster inside in the form of a green-tinted lens and green stitching on the seats, steering wheel and console. The camo motif returns on interior trim pieces, too.

Apart from the graphics and accessories, the rest of the truck is pure Silverado, with a 6.2-liter V-8 making 420 horsepower.

The Realtree Bone Collector Silverado will be one of many Chevrolet products on display at the SEMA Show, which is held from November 3 through November 6 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
