The first three quarters of the calendar year are behind us, and the full-size truck is as competitive as ever. The Ford F-Series has picked up sales momentum with a 16.4% improvement over September 2014. However, it was not the best improved for the month. That title goes to the GMC Sierra lineup with a 17.8% improvement.
The Chevy Silverado is best improved in Year-To-Date (YTD) sales numbers. F-Series and the Toyota Tundra show small improvements in YTD with 1.3%. Ram trucks were flat in September, and have a slightly higher 3.0% improvement for the year.
The outgoing Nissan Titan soldiers on for yet another month, but it did improve over the September 2014. The all-new 2016 Titan will not go on sale until December 2015, according to Nissan.
