The 2015 Cadillac Escalade is a luxurious ride, but it has relation to the Chevy Tahoe and Chevy Silverado. That means it has the rear axle, transfer case, and other robust four-wheel-drive components. On the other hand, it’s rolling on 22-inch wheels and tires, and the magnetic ride shocks are tuned for on-road comfort and handling performance. In other words, the Escalade does not have as much off-road articulation as other trucks in the GM family.
The Escalade uses the biggest V8 in GM’s arsenal. It’s the 6.2-liter V8 that produces 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. This example is also equipped with the 8-speed automatic transmission.
