Here’s the question: what do you do with two 4X4 pickup trucks (Nissan Frontier Pro4X and a Ford F-150 SVT Raptor) in the fluffy Colorado snow? The answer: bash through walls of snow!
It’s such an obvious answer.
The 2014 Nissan Frontier Pro4X has a 261 hp 4.0-liter engine that makes 281 lbs-feet of torque and it has a maximum tow rating of 6500 pounds. A five speed automatic is offered on the Pro4X models while a six-speed is available on other Frontier pickups. Off road suspension, locking rear diff and aggressive all-terrain tires (265/75R-16 BF Goodrich Rugged Trail T/A) give the Nissan Frontier Pro4X a very off-road-capable bent.
EPA estimates are… aww who cares? You can read about that stuff (here). You don’t take a truck into snow battle and worry about gas mileage, carbon footprint or any of that mother-jazz. You take a truck to make snow go BOOM!
The 2014 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor has a 411 horsepower, 6.2-liter V8 that makes 434 lb-ft of torque. It only comes with a six-speed automatic and one of the most aggressive suspension packages available. Fender bulges, BFG LT315/70R17 tires and beefy skid-plates make the already masculine F-150 looks like an animal in SVT-guise.
Do you care about the 11 mpg city and 16 mpg highway? Nope, you want BIG BOOM from BIG TRUCK!

Time for the battle in the Colorado snow to begin!
