While the Toyota Tacoma is still on top of the midsize pickup truck sales chart, the segment is not posting the same gains like the full-size pickups are doing. All, Tacoma, Chevy Colorado, Nissan Frontier, and Honda Ridgeline saw their sales decline in October versus last year. The GMC Canyon was the only truck in the segment that improved, using the monthly numbers.
In the Year-To-Date (YTD) numbers, the Tacoma and Colorado are doing well with incremental improvements, while the Frontier and Canyon are seeing double-digit decreases when compared to 2016. The Honda Ridgeline is still a brand new truck when compared to last year.
