We are at the 2016 Chicago Auto Show and there is plenty of truck news to go around. Here is what we found when looking underneath the 2017 Honda Ridgeline on display. It’s a towing information plaque that states the maximum trailer weight at 5,000 lbs and maximum tongue weight of 500 lbs.
Honda has not released all of the specification on the new truck yet. The latest midsize pickup made its debut at the 2016 Detroit Auto Show last month. The company showed many new features, including an in-bed audio system. Honda stated that the second generation Ridgeline will be able to carry a maximum payload of around 1,600 lbs and have class leading fuel economy.
The next piece of the puzzle is the maximum tow rating, and this is a clear indication that it will match capability of the first generation Ridgeline.
