Ford just published their quarterly sales results, and this is one surprising result. The Ford Expedition outsold the usual sales leader, Chevy Tahoe, in the first quarter of 2019.
Technically, the Ford Expedition sales numbers include the regular Expedition and the long-wheel-base Expedition Max. That means that the Tahoe and Suburban numbers should be combined for comparison to the total Expedition sales.
The Tahoe and the Suburban combine to a total of 31,882 SUVs. Ford sold 21,773 Expeditions. Yes, combined numbers of GM full-size SUVS still dwarf any other competitor.
