Behold! GM is announcing official pricing for the all-new lineup of the 2027 Chevy Silverado 1500 pickup trucks. It all starts with the Silverado 1500 WT at $41,395 when you including the $2,795 destination charge. How does it compare against Ford, Ram, and Toyota? Let’s dig in!
2027 Silverado 1500 WT
Under the hood of the base work truck is a powerful enhanced 2.7L TurboMax I4 engine with 350 horsepower and 455 lb-ft of torque. All new 2027 trucks get an updated 10-speed automatic transmission.
The new Silverado 1500 WT comes with the following features:

2027 Silverado 1500 Custom
Get a simple new Silverado 1500 with nicer exterior appointments.
The Custom trim level has a starting price of $46,395 (including the $2,795 destination charge).
2027 Silverado 1500 Custom Trail Boss
This is the entry level Trail Boss off-road trim level. It has an updated lifted off-road suspension and 34-inch all-terrain tires. You can get it with a selection of 2.7L TurboMax, 5.7L V8, or 3.0L Duramax engine.
The Custom Trail Boss starts at $57,195 (including the $2,795 destination charge).
2027 Silverado 1500 Silverado & Z71
It’s not a typo. The new mainstream trim level of the Silverado 1500 is called “Silverado”. There is also a Z71 off-road package that comes along with it.
The new Silverado trim level starts at $50,695 (including the $2,795 destination charge).
2027 Silverado 1500 Trail Boss
Here is a more premium version of the Trail Boss off-road trim. It has a much upgraded interior.
The Trail Boss trim starts at $63,995 (including the $2,795 destination charge).
2027 Silverado 1500 High Country
If you are looking for more luxury and the new 481 horsepower 6.6L V8 engine, you should look at the new High Country trim level.
The High Country starts at $74,495 (including the $2,795 destination charge).
2027 Silverado 1500 ZR2
The top dog of the new Silverado 1500 lineup is the new ZR2. It has upgraded DSSV off-road shocks by Multimatic that include Jounce bumpers. The ZR2 now rolls on 35-inch all-terrain tires.
The Silverado 1500 ZR2 starts at $79,995 (including the $2,795 destination charge).
For comparison, the new entry-level 450 horsepower 2027 Ford F-150 Raptor starts at $77,800 (including the same destination charge). The latest 540-horsepower 2027 Ram RHO starts at $77,790 (including the same destination).
