Stellantis announces their “FastLane 2030” plan for the North American market. The big news includes something called the Jeep Wrangler Scrambler. The Gladiator is now referred to as the Wrangler Gladiator. What’s going on here? Let’s dig in!
Stellantis just completed their Investor Day meeting in Michigan. It includes a lot of Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, and Ram news. This story is focused on the Jeep pickup trucks. The new Scrambler is said to be a new two-door pickup truck that has a look similar to the original Toyota 4Runner two-door or the Chevy K5 Blazer. It has a relatively short wheelbase, and it has a hard topper that can convert a small two-door pickup into a small SUV. Does that sound familiar?

Yes, this body type is coming back with multiple manufacturers coming out with these two-door vehicles. Slate Auto is planning the same for their upcoming compact electric two-door pickup that converts into an SUV.
It’s interesting to note that Jeep is now referring to the Gladiator as the “Wrangler Gladiator”. It appears that “Wrangler” is becoming its own sub-brand within Jeep. What do you think about this? Let us know in the comments below.
We are hearing that the upcoming Gladiator and Scrambler will have a new design up front that looks similar to the Jeep Convoy Concept truck that they showed at the 2025 Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah.
Would you buy a two-door Jeep Scrambler like this?
Wait, there is more. Stellantis says that they are planning a Scrambler SRT version of the truck. We are not sure what powertrain they will use, but there is a chance it will get the 392 “6.4L” V8 from the existing Wrangler.
Here are all of the details from today’s Stellantis Investor Meeting.
