Check out our 1995 Honda Acty 4WD mini kei truck. We have owned this mini truck for nearly two years. It’s a useful runabout that helps us at the ranch, but how tough is it? Let’s drive it in the Andre’s Pit off-road course and find out. Let’s dig in!
This is four-wheel-drive kei truck from Japan. It’s a mid-engine configuration with a small 656 cc three-cylinder engine that produces around 50 horsepower and 40 lb-ft of torque. It sends power to the four wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission. It does not offer a low-range transfer case or all-terrain tires. It also does not have a lot of ground clearance.
It has a very useful bed with folding sides with a payload of around 770 lbs. It is also rated to haul two people that weigh up to 100 kg (or 220 lbs) each.
Please join Kase and I in this video as we show all the Honda Acty 4WD features and beat it up off-road. This test was also tough on us, not just tough on the mini truck.
