America’s big 2-5-0 is coming up, and you can bet brands like Chevy are going to roll out something special.

When you need a shorthand for “American”, Chevrolet has been the go-to reference right alongside baseball and apple pie. So it’s entirely fitting, then, that it’s one of the companies celebrating 250 years of USA with a set of “Stars & Steel” models for you to pick up from your local dealer. Overall, five models are getting the treatment in a nod to the red, white and blue: the Corvette (notably, the only car here), Colorado, Silverado 1500, Silverado HD and Silverado EV.

Weirdly, unlike some past America-focused special editions, you don’t actually get the choice of red or blue exteriors here. Instead, the Stars & Steel special editions will be available in either white or black. The trucks, specifically, are available in Summit White with black interiors, while the Corvette gets more colorful interior options including red and blue.

Across the range, you get American Flag-inspired stripes in Satin Silver or Satin Black, with “250” graphics on the exterior. The trucks get gloss black wheels, while the Corvette offers a few different options (either black, carbon-flash or carbon fiber, depending on the model). Generally, all the various badging across the cars and trucks getting the special treatment is blacked out, while you also get red accents on things like the brake calipers and the trucks’ tow hooks.

Depending on which truck you get, the Stars & Steel Edition comes on a certain trim, and brings different upgrades to the table outside the 250-themed stripes and black badging that all the trucks get:

  • Colorado: Available on the Trail Boss Crew Cab
    • Adds 20-inch gloss black wheels, Convenience Package 2, Technology Package, Skid Plate Package, black exhaust tip, red tow hooks, black rocker protectors, spray-on bedliner, soft-roll bed cover and all-weather floor liners
  • Silverado 1500 Light Duty: Available on RST Crew Cab Short Box 4WD
    • Adds 22-inch gloss black wheels, performance air intake, Brembo brake system with red six-piston calipers, black exhaust tips, 6-inch rectangular steps, Protection Package with spray-on bedliner and wheel arch liners, soft-roll bed cover and Convenience Package II with sunroof
  • Silverado HD: Available on 6.6L Duramax Diesel LTZ Crew Cab Trail Boss 4WD
    • Adds Trail Boss Package with spray-in bedliner, 20-inch gloss black wheels, Z71 Off-Road Package, LTZ Convenience Package II, LTZ Plus Package, off-road high-clearance steps, power sunroof, Max Trailering Package, Gooseneck/5th Wheel Prep Package, soft-roll bed cover and Floor Liner Package
  • Silverado EV: Available on RST Crew Cab trim
    • Adds 24-inch gloss black wheels Brembo heavy-duty brake system with six-piston calipers and 15.7-inch front rotors

If you’ve been following the Silverado EV and going, “Wait, didn’t Chevy cancel the RST trim for 2026?”, that’s correct. However, the automaker is reallocating production to technically bring back the RST through the Stars & Steel special edition. So, this will be the only way you can get an RST for 2026, unless the company makes further trim-level changes in the new year.

Package pricing is not available for any of the Stars & Steel vehicles yet, though Chevy proudly notes that each vehicle shown here is proudly assembled in the United States. Production for all of these models will kick off in early spring 2026, and we’ll likely get prices closer to that date.
