These Ford F-450 and F-550 trucks are no joke! Elevation Off Grid had one of more eye-catching booth at the SEMA 2025 show in Las Vegas. They are showing three EOG F-550 Black Series trucks. The red truck (weighing approximately 10,000 lbs) is sitting on top of the other two trucks. These trucks have active height-adjustable suspensions by Liquid Springs. If Ford made an HD Raptor – this would be it!
Check out Elevation Off Grid – they build many different Ford SD and Ram HD pickup trucks and chassis cabs.
These EOG Black Series trucks aim to be great at everything. This is very hard to do, but I have tested these trucks before. The active Liquid Springs suspension can adjust quickly. It keeps the truck level and comfortable during spirited driving. It levels the truck out with it’s loaded heavy. These F-550 trucks have up to 9,608 lbs of real payload. These trucks can pull a trailer that weighs over 30,000 lbs. There is a new option for a dual fuel tank setup. Think about towing a heavy gooseneck trailer about 750 miles from Denver, Colorado to Las Vegas, Nevada without stopping for diesel.
These trucks have an all stock 6.7L PowerStroke turbo-diesel V8 under the hood. It’s backed by a 10-speed heavy-duty automatic transmission. These trucks are comfortable when driving empty or loaded.

Oh yea, these trucks are great off-road as well. The 41-inch tires offer a lot of grip. The suspension can be lifted around 8 inches. There is plenty of ground clearance. These F-550 or F-450 trucks can make a tighter turn than a long wheelbase F-350 truck. They are pretty maneuverable and can take you to a remove location with ease. This is why many of these trucks are also sold as chassis cabs without a pickup truck bed. These chassis cabs are used as a base for overland campers or habitat trucks.
