Dude, the Ram Dude sport truck is back! What you see here is a 2026 Ram 1500 HEMI V8 crew cab truck that is turned into a SEMA show concept. It’s called – the Dude. Here is everything we know about it. Let’s dig in!

Where does this name come from? Dodge marketed a 1970 and 1971 pickup truck trim that was called “The Dude”. They described it as rugged and tough Dodge Sweptline pickup truck that was snazzied up with the Dude sport package. The celebrity endorsement came from Don Knotts – a comedian and TV and movie star.

The new Dude Ram 1500 Concept is based on a 2026 Ram 1500 crew cab Big Horn trim. There is a 5.7L HEMI V8 under the hood which you can purchase in a production truck. The Dude exterior is painted in Sublime Green with black accents throughout. The Dude rides on a lowered suspension and 22-by-10 inch satin black wheels.

The 5.7L HEMI V8 is still rated at 395 horsepower but in this concept it breaths a bit better with a Mopar cold-air intake system and customized side dump exhaust outlets that exit right in front of the rear tires. The truck is finished with a low-slung front splitter and side sills.

The inside is identified by sublime green stitching and a prominent cowboy hat that mounts on top of the dash. The hat is mounted via a Mopar multi-accessory rail. This lowered sport truck is ready to drive to any dude ranch or main street cruise you desire to go to.

There is currently no word from Ram if this Dude package will go to production. If you like it, please comment. Given enough interest, Mopar and/or Ram may get this type of truck into the showroom.

The TFLstudios team will be at the SEMA show in Las Vegas next week. Please stay tuned to many videos from the show.
