2026 Lexus LX Lineup Gets a Few Minor Updates With an Equally Minor Price Hike

I mean, when you're talking about a $107K-plus SUV, $500 isn't really that much of a difference, is it?

The Lexus LX isn’t exactly cheap to begin with, but you’ll need more cash for this 2026 model.

Since it first launched four years ago, the biggest addition to the fourth-generation Lexus LX range is the hybridized 700h model, complete with an off-road focused Overtrail trim. Both it and the LX 600 models remain for the 2026 model year, though they (predictably) get more expensive as we roll into a new year. That said, with a starting price of $107,950, it’s not that much more expensive than before, relatively speaking. The entry-level LX 600 Premium, for its part, is $500 more than the outgoing 2025 model.

So, what do you get in the 2026 Lexus LX that you didn’t get last year? Well, the range includes Lexus Safety System 3.0+ as standard equipment — Lexus’ (sort of) shorthand for a wide range of driver assist systems. The Pre-Collision System with pedestrian detection, emergency steering assist, left-turn oncoming vehicle detection, all-speed radar cruise control, lane tracing assist, road sign assist and intelligent high-beams all come standard across the range as part of this system. A head-up display now also comes as standard equipment.

At the higher end, the 2026 Lexus LX 700h F Sport Handling trim now gets the F Sport Appearance Package as an option. You know, just in case your F Sport isn’t…F Sporty enough (putting the package name on top of the trim name is a little unwieldly, to put it mildly). The package brings in color-keyed lower front and rear fascias and running board accents (instead of black), while you do get black mirror caps and spoiler winglets. While you wouldn’t usually use the word “handling” anywhere near a vehicle like this, the sportiest LX model does get performance shocks, to go with the standard Torsen limited-slip center differential, 22-inch wheels and a Circuit Red interior.

The LX 700h Overtrail still gets the same off-road goodies as before. So, there are still 33-inch all-terrain tires on 18-inch wheels, locking front and rear differentials, a skid plate and a 2.4-kilowatt inverter to off-board enough power to run some appliances. There is a new Manganese Luster exterior color option, though.

Across the board, the 2026 Lexus LX lineup gets at least a few hundred dollors more expensive. From the LX 600 Premium on up, the F Sport Handling will set you back $114,950, while the Luxury comes in at $116,950.

As far as the LX 700h model goes, the $116,685 Overtrail is actually the least expensive way to get into the hybrid powertrain. From there, the LX 700h F Sport Handling comes in at $118,950; the Luxury costs $120,950; then you make a major jump to the 2026 Lexus LX 700h Ultra Luxury, which will set you back an eye-watering $142,450. That said, you do get, as the name implies, all the luxuries and technology you could want.
