After its latest redesign, the 2026 Infiniti QX80 Sport offers buyers a new trim option.
While the competition among small SUVs is absolutely ferocious, the full-size luxury SUV segment is a bit more one-sided…toward the Cadillac Escalade. Infiniti has offered up its rival for years, and took a bolder approach to woo prospective Escalade and Navigator buyers with the third-generation QX80. Now, a year later, the company is stepping things up with a new QX80 Sport trim level, alongside its existing Pure, Luxe and Autograph models.
Off the bat, the 2026 Infiniti QX80 Sport doesn’t add any performance to the mix. You still get a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 engine putting out 450 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque, mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. Unlike the Pure model, though, you can only get the Sport in four-wheel drive configuration. What the Sport does add is a list of aesthetic changes, starting with the blacked out trim and 22-inch six-spoke wheels.
The QX80 Sport also gets a new grille against the rest of the lineup, as well as a restyled front bumper. Inside, the darker theme continues with a Dusk Blue color scheme, accented by dark matte chrome trim and graphite for the headliner and pillars. The open pore wood trim comes in Dark Brown.
Sitting above the Luxe in the lineup, the 2026 Infiniti QX80 Sport brings in more standard features. On top of the electronic air suspension and head-up display, you also get the 24-speaker Klipsch sound system, 64-color ambient lighting, a frameless rearview camera mirror and massaging front seats. As far as exterior color options, you’ll be able to buy the Sport in Mineral Black (fitting), Radiant White, Grand Blue or Dynamic Metal. A two-tone roof is optional.
Since it sits between the Luxe and the Autograph, the Sport falls right in between the two trims on pricing as well. The MSRP for the 2026 Infiniti QX80 Sport sits at $104,240 including Infiniti’s rather hefty $2,190 destination fee. Pricing for the rest of the lineup starts at $85,940 for the rear-wheel drive Pure, running up to $113,690 for the top-of-the-line Autograph.
2026 Infiniti QX80 models will be in dealerships later this summer.
