Thanks to you watching and reading our reviews and stories, we are able to buy and test several new pickup trucks each year. We select new trucks that are either new, redesigned, significant, or a truck we have not owned before.
Since last fall (in 2024), we were able to purchase a 2025 Chevy Silverado HD Trail Boss, 2025 Ford Maverick AWD hybrid, and a 2025 Ford F-150 Tremor V8. We almost always trade something in to get the next vehicle. This time – Roman decided to trade in our 2025 Toyota 4Runner TRD Off-Road. We have already done a dozen videos with it, and the new 4Runners are still very desirable. Roman was able to get a very good deal on a trade in. TFL lost just about $1,000 on the new 4Runner after several months of ownership. The deal netted $57,000.
Roman decided to put this money back to work and purchase a new long-term pickup truck. This was a huge surprise to me, as I was on a trip.
We have never owned a new GMC pickup truck. After some guessing, I realized that Roman purchased a new GMC Canyon AT4X. However, I had no idea how wild this truck’s exterior color would be.
