We purchased our 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road “Blueberry” at the beginning of this year for a long-term review. We often cannot keep a new truck for very long, but we put about 7,000 miles on our Tacoma over four and half months. We did pretty much everything with it. We road-tripped it. We towing heavy trailers with it. We off-roaded it in Utah and Colorado. We put a camper on it. We drag raced it. Here is how it held up. Let’s dig in!
This is an all-new 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road. It’s an all-new truck that was redesigned from the ground up. It’s also the best-selling midsize pickup truck in the country. We had to be first to buy it and test it. We picked it up in Houston, TX because all new Tacomas are built in Mexico and Texas is one of the first places you can find one. It’s one of the least expensive new TRD Off-Road models. The only options are the side steps and a black chrome exhaust tip. We paid $45,300 before taxes (which is the sticker price).
Huge thanks to our friends at O’Sullivan Law Firm, Rider Justice, and Go Fast Campers for making this project a reality.
Please join Roman and I for a complete summary and overview of everything that happened with our Tacoma. We also list our new Tacoma likes and dislikes. In the end, we will miss this truck.
