Ram Trucks says that updated Ram HD news is coming later this year (in 2024). The company representative did not elaborate on a more precise timing or the significance of the news. This is an important announcement because we get this question often “When is the new or updated Ram HD coming to market?”
We know that the Ford Super Duty recently received a very thorough update and redesign for the 2023 model year. GM heavy-duty pickup trucks received many upgrades and new trims for the 2024 model year. Will 2025 be the year of Ram HD trucks? We will have to wait and see.

The 2025 Ram 1500 received exterior design changes, interior updates (bigger screens), a new Tungsten trim level, underlying electrical system upgrades, over-the-air update capability, and all-new powertrain options. If we have to look into the crystal ball and predict the future – we may see similar changes to the Ram HD truck lineup.
