News: 2024 Toyota Tacoma Is Coming Later Than Expected & Here’s Why

When will it finally arrive?

2024 toyota tacoma sales delay

The 2024 Toyota Tacoma is coming to its customers, but it’s later than we expected. Initially, Toyota stated that the all-new Tacoma would go on sale by the end of 2023 with the “arrival expected in dealerships in December 2023“. Take a look at a Toyota press release below. Toyota North America has been working to get the new Tacoma trucks to dealers this months, but it’s not happening yet. Here is one of the main reasons.

The new 2024 Toyota Tacoma has not yet received its final EPA fuel efficiency certification. The new 2024 Toyota Tacoma is not listed on the U.S. EPA website as of this writing. Vehicles that do not have EPA’s approval cannot ship to dealers or customers. We have information that many new 2024 Tacomas have already been built at the Mexico facility (facilities), but none of them appear to be shipped yet.

Hopefully, the EPA certification is finalized very soon – so that this highly anticipated new pickup truck can find its way to its customers.

Here is our latest video that shows real-world fuel efficiency of the new 2024 Toyota Tacoma Limited 4×4 with and without the chin spoiler / front airdam. The truck does very well, but the chin spoiler – not so much.
