Fresh off its NORRA 500 victory, the Forsberg Frontier off-road racer is a modified version of the factory truck.
If you’re attending the 2023 SEMA show in Las Vegas, keep an eye out for the Forsberg Frontier off-road race truck. Especially, if you’re a Nissan Frontier fan. In addition, Chris Forsberg will be at the show for autographs and photos. Look for Chris and the race truck at Nissan’s Thrill Street exhibit in the Las Vegas Convention Center West Hall, booth #52141.
One of the more notable points about the Forsberg Frontier off-road race truck its bones. This started as a regular Frontier, before getting the NISMO treatment. That means, many of these components can be adapted to your Nissan Frontier. If you’re at the booth, you can even ask Chris how certain components worked under the stress of the NORRA 500.
The NORRA 500 is a hard-core, desert off-road race from Ensenada to San Felipe and back. The Forsberg Frontier won its class.

We admire the Nissan Frontier. Our experiences with it have been positive, and we like the idea of an affordable vehicle in this class. It will soon be one of the few midsize pickups with a V6 (next to the Honda Ridgeline, and Jeep Gladiator). Being that Toyota, GM and Ford are all heading to turbocharged four-cylinder engines, the burly 3.8-liter V6 is almost in a class of its own.
