The new 2024 Nissan Frontier Hardbody edition makes its world debut here today. It ushers in the entire 2024 Frontier pickup truck lineup with a healthy dose of retro style. How can you not love these heritage 17-inch alloy wheels and this color scheme?
2024 Nissan Frontier Hardbody
The Hardbody name draws its lineage to the 1980s when Nissan pickup trucks started using a double-wall pickup bed design for added toughness.
The Hardbody edition starts with a Frontier SV crew cab 4×4. The 2024 SV cc 4×4 has a starting price of $36,870. It adds super cool classic 17-inch wheels with all-terrain tires, an aluminum skid plate, a graphics package, and a sports bar. The Hardbody edition costs an extra $3,890 for a total of $40,760. By today’s standards, this is a reasonable price for a well-equipped midsize pickup truck with a limited-edition appearance.
The 2024 Frontier powertrain remains the same. It’s a 3.8-liter naturally-aspirated V6 with 310 horsepower. It’s backed up by a 9-speed automatic transmission. The 2024 Frontier starts at $29,770 – which is a small $200 price increase over the base 2023 Frontier.

There is a new luxurious Frontier SL crew cab 4×4 model. It starts at $42,640. Overall, the latest Nissan Frontier represents a very good value for the segment.
