Whoa -this year’s Overland Expo Mountain West 2023 did not disappoint! There are many all-new vehicles on display, very cool truck builds, and many friends all in one place.
We start with the all-new 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road model. This is the first public showing of the TRD Off-Road model of the next-generation Tacoma. This is still a pre-production truck, so we were not able to get inside it. The truck that was on display did not have a front air dam attached. The TRD Off-road models will have a large air dam under the front bumper, but it can be removed with just a few bolts. Toyota representatives tell us that this truck will be offered with 31.6-inch tires, but it can accept a 33-inch all-terrain tire without modifications.
We also spent some time with the new GMC Hummer EV overland camper upfit by EarthCruiser. We caught up with our friend TyVole and his amazing Ram Power Wagon with accessories. We see an out of this world supercharged-V8 Toyota Land Cruiser 200-series, and many modified new Toyota Tundras.
