We now have more teaser images of the upcoming all-new 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro Hybrid. The company releases more dark images of the new truck as the official world debut draws closer. Toyota officially confirms that this is a 2024 model. They confirm that it is an “all-new” pickup truck. They confirm that it will have an electrified iForceMAX hybrid system. Also, they are showing it here in its TRD Pro trim. Here is everything we know so far.

Here is the Toyota USA website for the upcoming 2024 Toyota Tacoma.

We also might know how much torque one of the versions of the new Tacoma will produce. How? Toyota did not release any specifications about the new Tacoma yet. However, they put an odd information embargo timestamp on today’s news. The embargo time is 5:10 am EST. Why 5:10 am? A lot of embargoed news gets released at midnight or 6 am.

I am going out on a limb to say that 510 is a hidden message. Toyota likes to hide messages in images. They hid the April 4th, 2023 teaser release date in a previous Toyota Tacoma image. The production 2022+ Toyota Tundra has a hidden Morse code message inside the windshield.

I think 510 is referring to the Newton-meters of torque that the 2.4-liter turbocharged I4 electric hybrid system will produce. 510 Nm translates to 376 lb-ft of torque. I am guessing the new Tacoma iForceMAX hybrid will produce 376 lb-ft of torque. For reference, the new Toyota Crown Hybrid MAX with its 2.4-liter turbo I4 hybrid produces 332 lb-ft of torque @ 2,000 rpm.
