Sales Report: Honda Ridgeline Outsells the Ford Ranger in November 2022 U.S. Sales

There is more action within the midsize pickup truck segment when you look at the 2022 November U.S. sales report. The Toyota Tacoma is still enjoying a huge lead over all midsize competitors. The Honda Ridgeline does not have the best result, but Honda’s pickup outsold the Ford Ranger by a sizeable margin. Yep, the Ranger U.S. sales continue to decline in a big way.

Ford’s midsize truck has not been redesigned in some time, but it remains very competitive with its lineup, specification, and capability. However, it appears that Ford continues to struggle to produce enough Ranger pickups to satisfy demand.

GM, Nissan, and Jeep have not reported sales numbers for November. Most companies are reporting sales on a quarterly basis.

Let’s take a look at the compact pickup truck segment as well. The Ford Maverick continues huge sales gains. The Maverick and the Hyundai Santa Cruz just came on sale just over a year ago. Now, these two have established their own corner of the market for themselves. They remain unchecked by Toyota, GM, Stellantis, Nissan, and others.

The Ford Maverick outsold the Ranger this calendar year by about 16,000 pickups.
