Ford introduces another all-electric commercial vehicle to its lineup. It’s the new 2023 Ford E-Transit Custom van for the European market. The Custom is E-Transit’s slightly smaller sibling. This is a very popular van size and class in Europe and in other markets around the world. In fact, it’s been one of the best-selling midsize vans in its segment. Now, Ford electrifies it but keeps its dimensions and styling largely the same as it was before.

The E-Transit Custom will be produced at the company’s facility in Turkey. The driving range is expected to be 236 miles based on the WLTP driving cycle estimates. The all-electric van is rated to tow up to 2,000 kg or 4,400 lbs.
While we do not get the Transit Custom vans in the United States, here is a closer look at the 2022 Ford E-Transit that is already on sale in the U.S. Ford says the company already sold well over 1,000 E-Transit vans during the first four months of 2022.
