Ford officially kicks off its 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning EV pickup truck production today (Apr 26, 2022). The company has been running its Rouge Electric Vehicle Center in Dearborn, Michigan in pre-production mode. Now, it’s time to produce some customer trucks. Ford says the company has around 200,000 Lightning pre-orders.
