Toyota announced the availability of a “3-inch” TRD-developed suspension lift for the all-new 2022 Toyota Tundra, but most details were unknown until now. The lifted Tundra is on display at the SEMA 2021 show in Las Vegas, NV this week. Here is what it looks like, here is what the lift kit includes, and how much it will cost.

The production new Tundra TRD Off-Road or TRD Pro models come with 32.5-33 inch tall all-terrain tires. What if it’s not enough and you want more ground clearance and a larger diameter tire? This TRD lift kit comes to the rescue. Toyota says it offers an additional 2.6 inches of frame ground clearance and improved approach/breakover/departure angles. Take a look at the table below for all the specs. This system is using Bilstein shocks (similar to the ones on the factory TRD Off-road package).

Because this lift kit is developed by Toyota’s TRD division, it is fully compliant with all the latest Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 driver assistance technologies. Adaptive cruise, emergency braking, and the 360-degree camera system are all calibrated to work properly with the lift kit.

The lift kit allows for 35-inch tall tires as you see on this red truck. It comes with a 36-month warranty and an estimated cost of $3,995. Toyota says this dealer-installed kit will become available in the summer of 2022.
