Here is your personal first look at a more simple all-new 2022 Toyota Tundra SR5 work truck. It shows what’s available in a more affordable model of the new pickup truck.
The truck you see here is a shorter “double cab” with four forward opening doors. It has a 6.5-ft composite bed and four-wheel-drive. Just as with all new Tundras, there is a twin-turbo 3.5-liter gas V6 under the hood. It’s backed up by a 10-speed automatic transmission.
This particular truck comes with a close interior and large towing mirrors with a power folding and power extending features and additional lights. The new Tundra has a towing capacity of up to 12,000 lbs and a payload capacity of up to 1,940 lbs. This 4×4 model you see here has a payload of around 1,600 lbs.
It also has a few surprises. This otherwise basic truck can be equipped with a 360-degree camera system and a 14-inch infotainment system with Toyota’s latest audio multimedia interface.
