While most truck manufacturers have not reported their monthly sales numbers for May 2021 in the United States – Ford and Toyota have. Here are the numbers that we have so far. Please keep in mind that May 2020 results are especially low because of the COVID-19 shutdown in many states and regions around the country.

Ford F-Series sales are significantly down when compared to last year. This may be a direct result of the chip shortage and other component and material shortages. At the beginning of July 2021, we will get full sales from General Motors, Ram, Nissan, and all others. Please come back next month for a more precise report and comparison among all truck makers.
