This one-millionth 2020 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro is going up for auction at the Mecum Auction in Monterey, CA this August 12-14, 2021. Which Tacoma is this? In October 2019, Toyota published a news release that one-millionth Tacoma was manufactured at the company’s San Antonio, Texas truck plant.

Here is a tweet that was part of this news.

It was indeed an Army Green crew cab 4×4 truck that is equipped with a 3.5-liter gas V6 and a 6-speed automatic transmission. This production milestone was marked on October 4th, 2019. The truck was apparently sold and ended up in an automotive collection. According to the Mecum Auction, the truck now has 158 miles on the odometer. The truck is offered for sale with a congratulatory letter from Toyota.

While Toyota will continue to produce the Toyota Tundra trucks at its San Antonio, TX facility (including the all-new 2022 model) – the Tacoma production has sifted to the company’s manufacturing facilities in Mexico.
