Ram claims it’s raised the luxury benchmark again.

Back in 2012, Ram added a high-luxury “Limited” trim to the lineup, and the current half-ton truck competes to out-tech, out-comfort and outclass all the other svelte pickups on the market. Enter the 2022 Ram 1500 Limited 10th Anniversary Edition — a nod to the new era in which the truck is no longer just a work tool or a rig to take out into the untamed wilderness. While the current Limited is already about as sumptuous as a pickup truck comes, that hasn’t stopped Ram from trying to push the envelope here.

To that end, this 10th Anniversary Edition brings in all the real wood, metal and leather elements you’d expect in a half-ton Limited. This adds some special touches, as does Ram’s many other limited editions to date. Those touches include the unique Blue Shade paint scheme, Ram’s split-opening multifunction tailgate, a Mopar center-mounted bed steep and adjustable cargo tie down hoods.

On the inside, you get a plaque as with the Laramie Longhorn 10th Anniversary Edition. Quilted leather-wrapped seats, door inserts and a new suede headliner also make an appearance here, in Indigo and Sea Salt Grey hues. A unique cap for the rotary shifter is another neat attention to detail, while you also get a metal pedal kit and a 19-speaker premium sound system on this trim.
